This position will be expected to establish a research program focused on brief and early interventions in adolescent behavioral health, including substance use disorder. The candidate is expected to sustain a funded research program at Seattle Children’s and the University of Washington in these areas of adolescent behavioral health across multiple youth-serving systems, including healthcare, schools, and juvenile justice.
Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Professors hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30).
